I hear a lot of talk about how paintball isn't really a lifestyle...it's just a game or a sport or hobby or a pastime. Perhaps to some people.
Paintball is many things. Above all, paintball is a sport that says something about the players who participate in it. Paintball takes heart, skill, timing, practice, anticipation, and desire. Anybody can play a little paintball now and then, just like anybody can play basketball or flag football, but to get good – to get really good – takes uncommon dedication. For those willing to put in the time and the money, to play through pain, heat, cold, and loss, paintball becomes more than just a simple pastime. It is more than just something we do on the weekends to kill time until work on Monday. Those of us who do it , who really pour our souls into paintball, giving a part of ourselves to the sport, can’t call it a hobby anymore. We can’t call it anything but what it is - a part of us. A part of our lives, and a way of living. A lifestyle.
These posters were inspired by those guys, the ones who have given a part of themselves to making this sport as great as it is, and to the many more who will have to give much, to make paintball what it is destined to become.
